Reading books
Reading is the most important element of homework.
It fires imagination, increases vocabulary and spelling.
It takes the reader on adventures - for free and from the comfort of home.
Please encourage your child to read often and record in their diary.
Reading books and diaries must be in school daily.
Thank you.
Homework
Homework will be handed out every other day and
expected back in every other day.
Each homework set is only a 10-15 minute activity.
Homework will consist of 4 or 5 maths questions, spelling practise and punctuation or grammar task.
In addition to this is daily reading.
Physical Education
Mondays (skill focus) and Wednesdays (game focus)
