Ofsted and Catholic Schools Inspection
We are delighted to share with you the outcomes of the recent Catholic Schools Inspection report for St Mary's Catholic Primary School. The report is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, governors, pupils and parents, and reflects the strong Catholic ethos and values that underpin our school community.
The inspectors recognised the outstanding Catholic Life and Mission and Collective Worship of our school, and praised the pupils for their pride, kindness, respect and exemplary behaviour. They also highlighted the high quality of religious education and the feedback and support that pupils receive in their learning.
Some of the quotes from the report that we are especially proud of and want to share with you are:
"Pupils are proud to be part of St Mary's..."
"Behaviour around the school is exemplary."
"Pupils show respect for each other..."
The children told the inspectors that in our community 'you treat others with kindness.'
"They (the children) feel secure at school and show deep respect for each other and for adults."
"Pupils look out for each other in class and in the playground because of the values instilled in them."
We are very proud of our pupils and their achievements, and we thank you for your continued support and partnership in their education. We invite you to read the full report below and celebrate with us this wonderful recognition of our school.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs J. Lockley and Mr K. Byrne
