Welcome to St Mary's Catholic Primary School.
Welcome to St Mary’s Catholic Primary School. On behalf of the Governors, staff, children and everyone associated with the school, thank you for considering St Mary’s as the school for your child.
St Mary’s is a small and friendly Catholic school set in extensive grounds in the historic village of Brewood.
Our school caters for children aged 4 to 11, both Catholic and non-Catholic. After their time at this school, most children transfer to Blessed William Howard High School, in Stafford. Our children are drawn from Brewood and its surrounding villages; primarily Penkridge, Wheaton Aston, Coven and Bishops Wood, as well as intervening hamlets.
We seek to inspire pupils to achieve their full potential in their academic, Christian and social lives. Our Catholic ethos pervades every aspect of school life; there are strong links with the local parish of St Mary’s and the children and their families are encouraged to share in the life of the parish.
We hope our new website will offer you an insight into the aims and values of our school and help you decide if it is the place for your child.
