St. Mary's Catholic Primary School Video
Welcome to St Mary's Catholic Primary School.
Welcome to St Mary’s Catholic Primary School. On behalf of the Governors, staff, children and everyone associated with the school, thank you for considering St Mary’s as the school for your child.
St Mary’s is a small and friendly Catholic school set in extensive grounds in the historic village of Brewood.
Our school caters for children aged 2 to 11, of all faiths and non. After their time at this school, many of our children transfer to Blessed William Howard High School, in Stafford or one of the local grammar schools. Our children are drawn from Brewood and its surrounding villages; primarily Penkridge, Wheaton Aston, Coven and Bishops Wood, as well as intervening hamlets.
We seek to inspire pupils to achieve their full potential in their academic, spiritual and social lives. Our Catholic ethos pervades every aspect of school life; there are strong links with the local parish of St Mary’s and the children and their families are encouraged to share in the life of the parish.
We share the foundational belief across our academy schools that through exceptional communication, we enhance the spiritual development, opportunities and life chances of all in our community and we pride ourselves on our excellent communication with parents but also on teaching children the fundamental skills they will need to become exceptional communicators.
We hope our website will offer you an insight into the aims and values of our school and help you decide if it is the place for your child.
